David Carter (basketball)

David Allen Carter (born March 12, 1967) is an American college basketball coach. He was formerly the head coach of the University of Nevada.
On April 3, 2009 it was announced that Carter would replace Mark Fox who decided to leave Nevada for the same position at the University of Georgia. Prior to that, he had been an assistant at Nevada for 10 years under Trent Johnson and Fox.
Carter was fired by the University of Nevada, Reno in March 2015 after poor performance.
